Is it not better to use the referral system so that someone else benefits too?

Good point. I've updated the post

  • Wonder what will be torrenting and streaming with them looks like or will be looking like in the future.

  • Thanks, but I don't enjoy jumping through hoops to find out they want ~$20 from me :-( That might be just the start, I didn't do more hoop jumping to find out who is responsible for return costs. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I don't consider that free like it says in post title?

    • Can't say I actually made it that far.

      What's the $20 for?
I'm guessing it's delivery. Spark / One do the same but usually it's only ~$10 so double the price.

      • All good, yeah shipping, maybe be someone digging deeper will find out the return liabilities/costs (and can post them) where free turns into cheap into "s1ht my other "free" month data choices are WAY more "free" than that!" ;-)

    • I don't know what hoop you are jumping through, but $20 is cheap for a reasonably large price of kit, including extras that you might want, like brackets. I got mine last year for $159 plus $20 including one month and all the hardware, plus $15 bracket. Then it was guaranteed 100 Mbps, but now it is 300Mbp plus unlimited data for the same money. I'm out in the country where there's no fibre available, and 5G is very expensive in comparison.
