Got my Blink cameras from here.
Looking for battery advice, I’m aware of the Energizer Ultimate Lithium requirement, but I’m curious about alternatives.
Has anyone used the 1.5V Xtar rechargeables from PB Tech? Or a UYODM 4watt Solar Panel?
Keen to hear what actually works in the real world. Thanks!

Solar panels apparently do work for the cameras. Have not tried them myself though.
As for 1.5v Xtar rechargeables — What I've read is that the Blink cameras are designed to work with the power profile of Energizer Lithium batteries (which is what is included with the cameras initially) and every other brand might still work but might affect the performance of the camera or provide an inaccurate battery reading in the app. But considering the batteries are cheap and can be used in other appliances like flashlights, it's probably worth the gamble. Just don't buy too many.
Note that you can also get the Battery extension pack for $49 AUD + delivery / taxes. Batteries included.
