Superdry price dropped their non hooded sports puffer jacket to $99. Free shipping. Supposedly the jackets run a little small so consider that when sizing.

Three colours to choose from Blue, Black and Grey. Many sizes available.

  • Hi OP,

    Price shows as $114AUD

Was there a coupon code to use pls?

    • +3

Could be the currency conversion that's updated itself.

I had this happen when I returned a jacket just before Christmas last year. I received LESS than what I originally paid for due to AUD currency values changing. Also worth noting that there is no free returns for items if you ship them back - it's at the buyers expense.

Factoring in shipping it back and currency changes, it cost ME about $50 all up just to return an item (unless you're near the Sylvia Park store, who are the only store that process returns in NZ if you buy from the online store).

      • Thanks Makmak! Valuable info

    • The $114 price is in NZD - if you go to the checkout it shows that. Not sure if they charge in NZD or AUD but companies doing currency conversion often overcharge you. Better off paying in AUD with a low commission charge card like Wise.

      • Confirmed. Shows in NZD. Cheers!

  • Anyone received it yet? What’s quality like? Keen to order but also considering a macpac one

    • I don't have this puffer specifically, but I do have the Superdry Fuji which is kinda puffer-ish (https://www.superdry.com/mens/jackets/fuji-double-zip-jacket…). Had it for years and love it. It's my go to for those colder days.

I also have this one (https://www.superdry.com/mens/jackets/fuji-double-zip-jacket…) which looks similar in regards to 'puffer-ness' and fabric. It doesn't feel as hard-wearing as the above jacket, but it still feels thick and chunky and VERY warm (almost too warm).

Anyway, I've always been a fan of Superdry and I find the material they use is pretty high in terms of quality, weight, and robustness. Honestly, I'd pick this over the Macpac jacket, which is usually very thin feeling (at least when I've checked them out in stores). It's just that international returns malarkey that puts me off.

If you can find it cheap, and through the likes of Iconic or ASOS, (or if you're in Auckland) go that route - otherwise you could take a punt.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

      • Wow thanks for that!
Is it similar sizing to Macpac?
        I wear size M

        • Not sure of Macpac sizing. I don't own much clothing of theirs.

Superdry in the other hand…is where it gets tricky.

They used to have 'asian' sizing. So a Med was Sml. A Lrg was a Med. And so on. (Unless it was pants)

However, I think over time this just confused people, so from what I can gather, they've gone to regular sizing definitions (M is M, L is L etc). The coat I returned is because I ordered a Large (thinking it would be a Medium). Turns out it was actually large. So I swapped for a Medium, which fit a lot better (I'm usually a medium).

Note: I just realized the second link in my reply above is wrong (was a duplicate of the first). This is the coat I meant to link.

  • I ended up getting one thanks for toe help
