Gonna wait for end of the year bogof. Not paying more than 20 dollars for this :)

    • Yep, if they do it, then I'll get another sim and plan for my car.

If they don't do it, I'll probably scuttle the ship.

    • Same here, my one finishes in November so hopefully the deal comes back again for this November…

I really hope we get some better value offers as my 12 month large runs out this month, it was $199 last year and currently $330. Might be time to churn

The large 15GB plan is also on special $25 per month normally $35 but only for the first month.

      • Any idea if you can buy multiple vouchers and then use a new one each month for a couple of months until there may be a better sale?

        • I asked Kogan, it's actually $25/month for up to 2 years as long as you have auto-renewal enabled. I think they updated the page too.

          • @kyogui: So once you've used a voucher for a month renewal and have auto-renew enabled, it will be $25 a month on an ongoing basis?

            • @Foo: Ahhh, you are right @kyogui - I found the following under the Plan Information and Terms.

+Kogan Mobile’s LARGE 28% OFF Monthly Offer is valid for new and existing customers. Personal use only. New customer plans are set to auto-renew by default. Existing customers will need to purchase a discounted plan. After the first month, plans will automatically recharge at the discounted price and will continue to automatically renew on your renewal date at the discounted price for up to two years, provided that you remain on the plan and your plan continues to auto-renew on each subsequent renewal date. If you cancel auto-renew or your plan does not auto-renew (for example, due to insufficient funds) or you change plans, the discount will no longer apply.

                @Foo: I'm already on this

Holding out for 50% off Black Friday or bye bye Kogan. It's been good knowing you…

    • +1

      Where would you go?

      • Currently switched to Zeronet for $15 per month (3 months half price) and get an additional $5 credit off our fibre bill. Hopefully this lines up with the Black Friday deal. If not, might consider FarmSource 2degrees deal and use it for hot spotting so cancel fibre plan to even out costs. Mighty Ape also had a decent BOGO deal a few months back.

  • Just got the large yesterday for a year…. Am on my 32 GB plan until November….. Just wasn't getting the data … Lucky if I used 10gb a month.

    Kogan, whyyyyyy?

Starter pack ends in a few days and was hoping for much better.

Had planned to pick up something short-term but got excited when I saw big cheese had posted a new deal!

I'm done in two days. Don't know what to do haha

Mine expired last week, changed to another provider month-to-month until Kogan has a descent deal.

As a threadbare cheapie, trying to decide between going for:

Warehouse Mobile SIM for $5 with the 5GB bonus when you bring your number

    -OR-

2degrees $8/month plan with the 7.5GB Bonus for porting number over - only problem is that whilst it's still on the site, the T&Cs suggest it finished on the 30th June. Anybody know if this is still on?

    Danke!

Even if that deal expired, you could also do the same $8 plan, but do a 2-week one off for (about - check the current cost yourself!) $35 and get a load of data, which then rolls over for up to 12 months. You then swap back to the $8 plan ongoing until the data runs out.

Works out to be about $10.90 per month for me ($8 x 12 plus $35 = $131 / 12 = $10.91 pm - actually slightly less since you have two weeks off the $8 plan so I guess $127 / 12 = $10.58), and more data than I would use (I work from home and / or in an office with WiFi so my usage is quite low), but obviously your usage might be much higher.

To help others, switched painlessly to the 2degrees $8/month plan and currently enjoying the free, rollover 7.5GB number porting bonus - still on!
      Kogan, over to you…

nice, will churn too if the data boost is still active

    • +1

Churned to the $8 plan and got the 7.5GB bonus today, sad Kogan has no interest in keeping us as customers

  • how do we get farmsource 2 degree deal. i have farmsource account but havent used it in ages. anyone can advise?

    • Saw that one change yesterday but thought it was too disappointing to post!
