That's an incredible price for the 5070.

OP, I've noticed 50xx discount prices dropping pretty rapidly across a lot of retailers. What's your take on the trend in pricing? Do you see them continuing to come down in price?

    • +2

Not sure. I think there won't be much change until the Super refresh at the end of this year, although they will probably be more expensive in real pricing, even though the RRP is the same.

Part of the price drops is the exchange rate being better now verses the start of the year.

Ah, seems like this may be the cheapest 5070 price for a while, then. Thanks for the heads up! I managed to snag a 5070 just before they went OOS.

  • Cheap Tesla L4, TIA

/will leave the definition of "cheap" up to the reader

  • +1

Can I add one of these to my existing order and combine shipping?

    • +1

Send me a DM with the order number or fill out the contact form on the website and I'll check if it's possible.
Most of today's orders have already shipped though.

  • 5070 price is quite decent

  • +1

    Do they include Borderlands 4?

    • +1

I don't think so. Last time I checked, Nvidia does their promos through the retailer instead of through the distributor, so it'll probably only be PBTech in New Zealand that has enough volume for that.

      • +1

I just had a look at the requirements. It doesn't need anything from our end, so you could try, but I can't guarantee anything.
You need to apply through the manufacturer with the serial number/PPID and a copy of the invoice. I don't know if they will accept invoices from us though.

I might message our Gigabyte rep and check with them.

        • What are they expecting as the invoice? Just a screenshot of the order page?

          • @dankd: Not sure, this is what I was sent by the rep - https://www.aorus.com/en-au/explore/events/borderlands4-rtx5…

The picture of the purchase invoice must clearly specify the store of purchase, product model name, product price, invoice number, and purchase date. If the picture of the purchase invoice is not clear enough, GIGABYTE may reject the customer’s redemption at its sole discretion.

If you need a full GST invoice, you can send an email or fill out the website contact form with the order number and I'll get back to you.

    • If you don't have an aversion to Epic Games Store, they're currently offering 20% Cashback (given as account credit) if you buy games using their payment system.

      This'd come to $1118.95 for the 5070, BL4, and $23.99 EGS credit, versus $1206.35 for PB's cheapest 3 fan and BL4.

      • Wait, you can BUY games from the Epic store? I just thought it was the place for free games.

        • +1

I know, I know. They really do have some exceptional sales, though. For their 2023 Xmas sale they matched Steam's sale prices, but also had an unlimited-use 33% off coupon which stacked with the sale, and a further 10% back as account credit.

Update - Gigabyte rep said they would be included the promo. I can't guarantee for other manufacturers though.

      • Received my key for the game yesterday. Y'all should put a banner up on the site advertising it.

  • Can you make your samsung watches cheaper please :)

    • +1

      Which model?
Most of them are already on clearance as the next gen just released, but you can fill out the website contact form if you want and I'll see if there's anything I can do for you.

      • +1

I see - i'll use the contact form - seeing if there's any further discounts on the ultra or the 7 series.

  • Good price for the 5070. I'd grab one if I didn't already have a 4070 Super, though if the rumors about the 5070 Super having 18gb of vram are accurate I might be tempted into buying one of those when they release, as long as they're not ridiculously overpriced.

    • +2

      They'll definitely be overpriced

I’m keen on a 5070 TI, I’ve never heard of you guys before, how do we trust you?

  • Any chance your 5080 SFF pricing go between $1900 to $2000? =)

  • +1

How long is this promotion running for, or while stocks last?

    • +1

It will be available until they're all sold.
There's not much stock left though.

  • @inthiseconomy what power supply would pair well with a RTX 5070 Ti ?

    • If you want one from us, I'd recommend the Gigabyte UD850GM PG5 V2 or the MSI MAG A850GL.

  • Damn missed this - any chance you'll have similar 5070ti prices any time in future?

    • Not for this particular model, this was below cost compared to our usual price.
For other RTX 5070 Ti models we could do $1539 (bank transfer price) for PNY RTX 5070 Ti Overclocked Triple Fan (VCG5070T16TFXPB1-O).

      • will you have more in the future?

        • Not of this model at this price, they're all clearance units. The regular price we could do is $1775.

There was also some Z890 motherboard models that were clearance units, if there's any interest in those.
          Bank transfer prices would be:
          $510 GIGABYTE Z890 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE ATX LGA1851
          $430 GIGABYTE Z890 GAMING X WIFI7 ATX LGA1851 (~2 week lead time)
          $330 GIGABYTE Z890 UD WIFI6E ATX LGA1851

      • @inthiseconomy Interested in the VCG5070T16TFXPB1-O if there are any still available?

  • God damn it, missed this as well for the 5070 Ti, the 5080 is of interest, its a shame its the SFF card though.

    • Could do $2299 for the Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 5080 (GV-N5080GAMING OC-16GD) if you want one that's not SFF.

      • Hmm, I don't suppose you can get hold of a TUF-RTX5070TI-O16G-GAMING?

        • Yes, although ASUS prices aren't great. It'd be $1915 bank transfer price for that model, and that's basically cost price for us.
