This is targeted but not sure how to tag it. No e-mail received just noticed it in the app when trying to choose dinner tonight.
You have 14 days from when you "unlock" it to use it.
If you open up the DoorDash app (or in browser), you may see a banner at the top prompting you for the promotion which sounds like it unlocked it allowing you to use the code.

  Anyone had rubbish service from their delivery people, takes ages, cold or missing a sauce etc and 'DoorDash' goes…

    Yep absolutely appalling.

    McDonalds had a great deal as posted on Cheapies - spend $25ish and get a free double quarter pounder combo? And that $25 could include the price of the combo, so you just needed some second cheap item to take you over.

    1. Ordered for delivery to my partner's work - the McDs was a literal 800m drive away. Driver was "on the way" to McDs at 1:19pm (and then only 5 minutes away), it was finally delivered at 1:58pm bone cold and without a straw.
    2. Ordered to my work. Included a McCafe coffee monstrosity. Did not receive my Coke.
    3. Ordered to my work. Included a McCafe coffee monstrosity. This time got my Coke but not my coffee.

    The last 2 were clearly the McDonald's fault, but as you mentioned they absolutely REFUSED to refund even for a drink. I went back through the menu and tried saying my entire order was missing and still they automatically declined.

    I uninstalled it that day and will never use DoorDash again.

      wtf is with mcdonalds anyway, I can't select pickup for my order on doordash/ubereats so I have to settle for cold food?

    Yeah I wish they let you cancel driver pickup to get yourself when you can tell they are screwing you over and doing an order for another platform at the time. I was very tempted the other day to just pickup my food and show the app etc as the driver did pickup/dropoff to 2 homes before even picking up my order 20min later. Thankfully my 2 locals I order from are good and have the food under heaters as it's a common problem with such delivery services.

    Yeah my food arrived cold more than 1 hour eventhough it stated under 20mins.

    That's because the driver was doing 5 deliveries at one go.

    I reported it to customer service and the team whom are mostly Pinoy based in Blenheim talking to me like gangsters telling me "Do you understand what is estimated time? If you don't like to wait then go pick up next time". Totally speechless.
