  • Thanks @gotyourback - is the temu 50/55% new user capped?

    • Hey @Coolbro😊 Just to clarify, which date of the Temu offer are you referring to?

      For today:

      • New Temu Customers: 100% cashback, capped at \$30
      • Existing Temu Customers: 15% cashback, capped at \$30
  • @gotyourback Since a cap is specified when one is in place - May we fairly assume there is no cap for ones when not specified at the descriptions?

While I want to be safe and check with you every time this occurs, it is also impractical to do so, given the 1-day nature of most promotions, and your turnaround response time of typically over a day.

    • Yes, you’re correct. If a cap isn’t mentioned in the app or on the site, that means there’s no cap for that specific offer. For example, today’s Temu offer clearly stated it’s capped at $30, so we know that’s the limit for cashback.

I totally understand how checking with us every time can be a bit impractical, especially with the quick turnaround of promotions. If there’s ever any doubt, feel free to ask, and we’ll clarify as quickly as possible.

      • That's great, I was looking at the MightyApe one that doesn't have a cap today but has one usually. Thank you for the prompt response, much appreciated 👍🏻

        • Glad I could help! 😊 Yup, there’s no cap on the MightyApe offer today. Thanks for your patience, and let me know if you need anything else!

      • @gotyourback do you have a summary of the eofy deals for the end of june? Popped up on my app but isn't available anymore

  • For the ChemistWarehouse offer, is a new user considered to be someone who has been a member for awhile but has not purchased anything via CB as yet?

    • +1

For the Chemist Warehouse offer, a new user is someone who has a ShopBack account but hasn’t yet had any cashback tracked from Chemist Warehouse. So if you’ve created a ShopBack account and haven’t made a qualifying purchase from CWH yet, you'll be considered a new user for this offer.

Hope that clears things up! Let me know if you need anything else! 😊

  • +3

It appears doordash is only 50% for new users and 25% for existing instead of 100/50 in the op

    • @gotyourback

      • Thanks for pointing that out! I’m checking on this now to confirm the details. I’ll get back to you with an update soon.

        • +1

Still no update after 1 hour? Half a day has passed and no one is getting 100/50 cashback as per advertised by your post here.

          • +1

@KiwiHunts4CheapDeals: Thanks for your patience! I’ve confirmed with the team that the cashback for Doordash is indeed 50% for new customers and 25% for existing customers, not the 100%/50% as originally mentioned. Apologies for the typo earlier in the post!

Thanks for bringing this up, and let me know if you need anything else! 😊

            • @gotyourback: Thanks for finally getting back to us.

On another note, Temu cashback today is 15%/3% and not the 50%/10% as posted by you.

              Another "typo" eh?

              • @KiwiHunts4CheapDeals: Thanks for your patience! 😊 I’ve confirmed with the team that the Cashback for Temu today is up to 50%—50% for new customers and 10% for existing customers. Apologies for the confusion earlier!

  • I’m having multiple issues with my cashback tracking through Chemist Warehouse, Temu and Shein. While they are tracked, the amounts are incorrect.

I opened a ticket for each order weeks ago but have only recieved responses about one order which has not resolved the issue at all. The customer service feels as if we are speaking different languages.

Previous to this I’ve had no issues for many orders and have used the same checkout device and methods. Can you please help? Thanks

    • GST isn't included as per the terms, does that new figure make sense?

      • Nope. One of my orders says I spent over 100% more than I did. And the issue with that order is they also marked me as an existing customer when I was a new customer, so it docked my cashback by over 50%

    • Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your cashback! Could you DM us the details of your orders? We’ll look into it and get things sorted for you.

  • Had to downvote as the actual cashback for Doordash today on ShopBack is 50% (new) /25% (existing). This is in contrast to what OP posted - 100% / 50%.

  • So I booked and paid on Agoda today 20/6
371.08 and only got 20.21 being tracked
    Whats the deal?????
    I really hate shopback.
Last time I booked on Agoda with shopback and selected pay later and got nothing.
Most of the time I buy on Temu I got to submit a ticket to get anything.
    This is just false advertising

    • Sorry to hear about the issues you’re facing! 😕 Can you please DM us with the details of your Agoda booking? We’ll look into this further and get it sorted for you!

      • I just sent an email now to
        " care@shopback.co.nz"

        • Thanks for sending the email to care@shopback.co.nz! 😊 I’ll follow up with the team to make sure they get this sorted for you.

  • @gotyourback - Your reply earlier:

Apologies for appearing dense 😊 but confirming: a new user is someone who has never made a previous purchase with with the store (for the deal) even though they may have other purchases with other stores on their shopback account?

    • Apologies for the late reply! 😊 Just to confirm, a new user for the Chemist Warehouse offer is someone who has never made a purchase with Chemist Warehouse through ShopBack, even though you may have made purchases with other stores on your ShopBack account.

      • 👍

  • ShopBack is getting worse each day.

@gotyourback asked me to provide some screenshots on my wrongly tracked Temu order. The team then send me a generic message in their reply:
    https://files.cheapies.nz/upload/21012/5597/screenshot_20250…

Whats the point of asking us to provide those screenshots if you are going to send us unhelpful reply anyway?

There are lots of users having problems with Temu order and since it takes 4 months for them to get approved, by the time it gets approved with the wrong cashback amount, the ability to raise a dispute in shopback would have been disabled as seen from many users here sharing their experience.

I urge you @gotyourback to solve this widespread issue within your organization or face consequences from Commerce Commission.
