Not yet!
I used bolt in Thailand and it's amazing…. as is grab.
But with NZ minimum wage I doubt it will be worthwhile.
It's the same people doing Uber and Didi, just have another app/phone.
Used it a lot this weekend - in the city, for most destinations, it's cheaper than catching the bus with the promo.
My driver was telling me that not a lot of people have been using it yet - but sounds like the rates drivers get through it are significantly better than uber.
Isn't that how Uber, Didi, Ola, all started. Initially offering good deals through frequent, decent ish driver pay out, all while burning VC money. Eventually as the money dries up, they start reducing the deals, and slowly reduce the driver pay out.
