We are organising a FREE AMI Bike Helmet Giveaway to customers and other Cantabrians to encourage them to get out of their cars and onto their bikes. The helmet giveaway is in January, and we will continue to promote throughout February so that people can wear them.

Time: Wednesday, January 27, 2016 - 08:30 to 17:00
Location: Canterbury Stores (7 AMI branches in Christchurch, Rangiora, and Kaipoi. Doesn't include Ashburton or other areas of Canterbury.) Thanks to Jay for finding out the exact locations.

  When i saw Canterbury i assumed the store, but saying "Cantabrians" sounds like people who live in the south island haha.

    Ahh yeah I see what you mean, so my "Location: Canterbury Stores" you reckon they actually mean all AMI stores that are in South Island?

  Cantabrians is in very common usage. Not just for Christchurch but the whole Canterbury plains. Probably about 1/4 of the whole South Island, from east coast to the alps, down past Timaru. To be fiercely distinguished from Southlanders and Coasters.

  Checked with AMI event organiser. Giveaway is to be held only at 7 AMI branches in Christchurch, Rangiora, and Kaipoi. Doesn't include Ashburton or other areas of Canterbury.
