I am sure we can get better one but this is a steal as well as compatible and has wireless charger but sitting at 850A

It wasn't long ago that so called "portable" jump starters were about as portable as 4 bricks with a handle on top. Things have changed a lot since then thanks to lithium battery technology. Indeed, this unit weighs in at around half a kilogram and could almost fit inside a shirt pocket!
Not only is it light and portable with a whopping 850A cranking current, it also features a wireless Qi charger for your phone and two USB sockets for your other devices. You won't be caught in the dark either thanks to the built in torch with SOS beacon function. Charging is via the onboard USB C socket.

Features:
• LiCoO2 Battery
• Reverse Polarity Protection
• Short Circuit Protection
• Low Voltage Protection
• Overheat Protection

I was curious if the 9V USB-C input was USB-PD compatible, and it's not clear from searching online for specs. If someone buys one they should try it with a 3rd party charger and see how it goes.

This appears to be the manufacturers site, its called the same A38 but the battery is bigger. Possibly a newer model?

edit: the starting current is also confusing. Jaycar just says 850A. The manual says

    600A±10%

with the description column saying this without any further context:

    0.1-0.3S 1000A
    0.55 800A
    25 600A

The chinax site above - which I suppose isn't official - says:

    Starting current: 420A
    Peak current: 850A

I think if you've got any high CCA engine that is in the 600-850 spec, I'd opt for something with a little more kick just in case the numbers are being fudged a bit.

    • Have this and its worked on a 6.5L tractor, 3L ute and petrol car and motorcycle without issue

Looking online 6.5L engine may only need as little as 400cca but i dont know enough about this to comment in more detail - just that this unit has worked really well for me

The amount of current to run a starter motor is going to vary, the biggest difference is petrol vs diesel (diesel is higher compression so harder to turn over). Other factors include your earths, a gauge of cable used to connect etc.

          All of this.
Also how flat the battery is that's in parallel to the jumper I expect is a factor too.
