Exactly, I always go to VTNZ as they don’t have skin in the game.
This is one of the few occasions where cheaper is not better.
Private garages are a hit or miss in my opinion.
Last year I got a discount and it was $70 this year it will be $79, not bad.- 1

T&C says “MyVTNZ Sign-Up Offer –

Another discount offer (yet to be determined) will be available from 1 October 2026 to 31 December 2026.”But signup page says “Sign up to MyVTNZ by July 31st, verify your account & show the banner on your MyVTNZ homepage for $10 off your WoF.”

Cheers, WOF coming up. I know it's cheaper to get it outside but my logic with VTNZ is they don't have a hidden motive in the form of a repair business.
