$233 NZD all up for 6TB isn't bad, this the maximum price you'd pay, can buy up to 3 and shipping spreads a little
PBTech is $325 or so, and Amazon AU is $246

    Even cheaper on bhphotovideo US$116 delivered (~NZ$197)

    On a side not higher capacity drives like 12tb or higher are more cost effective

  I have a Synology DS923+ with two 4TB NAS HDDs from the 3300 Series installed. Can I simply add two more of these drives to the remaining empty bays?

    Most of the HDD's should be fine. I won't recommend getting anything below 12tb now. Prices /tb are better if you go higher.
