I did a test booking for LA, Dec 18/19 @ The Luxe City Center Hotel for $155 USD. Hotelscombined gave me $198 USD as their best price.
It also works in New Zealand. The Skycity Auckland comes up as $132.58 USD for Dec 18/19. Hotelscombined gives me $187 USD as their best rate.
