Looking at the picture in the link the Cookie Bake is not made by Countdown, it's made by Munchtime.
They didn't say it was made by Countdown, they were referring to the store where it's being sold.
Was gonna mention that as well. The butter makes a huge difference in the flavour of their cookies.
As @TheCheifKev pointed out, that's comparing Cookie Time's budget range to their normal range. A closer comparison would be broken vs whole of the same product:

Though I do think it's worth adding that IME supermarket stock has best before dates that are months further out than anything I've received from Munchtime - and that's only considering the non-clearance stuff.
Cookie Bake stuff is horrible and so are the crunchy cookies even though they are made with butter not margarine, avoid if you like the classic Cookie Time cookies.
Anyone had success using the code? Says “You don't have the required product quantities on your sales order.” for me.

But the code won't work on my phone when I tried entering it on the check out page. Got it working eventually on PC, might be my phone.

Try adding the code at the end, after adding mail address, just before payment. Error came up when I added the code at checkout but this worked.
