OK so I'm not sure this needs to be in the forum rather than here but it's a deal that I saw.

I bought uber one to take advantage of the $1 deals because it came out cheaper than buying the meal.

After buying Uber One I went to cancel the membership straight away (so it didn't auto renew), and it made me go through multiple steps:

1. Why do you want to end
2. Do you want to pause instead

When I said yes to both it then offered me:

1. 90% off ($1 per month) for 3 months.

Im pretty sure this wouldn't work for trial memberships and only if you bought it. *has been confirmed by Doubledippps that it worked for trial members but probably targeted. (thank you)

And sorry there's no screenshot, I didn't think to take one until I thought about posting here.

Because I'm a sample of 1, and I dont want to buy again just to confirm I can't tell if there is a criteria you have to meet or if it's open to everyone who tries to quit.

If anyone else tries this, please post if it worked for you so we can update the description.

  This is targeted but very common to get this deal i think once you use it once they don't offer it again.

  Had a less than good experience with them made a medium fuss over chat threatening to cancel.
  Cancelled uber one fully then got a call 3 days later saying uber one for free for 3 months+ a full refund.

  I had a similar thing but got offered 1 year for 80% off or similar so i got 1 year for about $30

  Yeah I think they will always offer deals… The idea being when you are doing full price.. Try Cancle and see what they give you 😅

  Did you guys actually go and cancel the UberOne trial if it's a burner account with replaced virtual wise card? Just wondering can I just ignore and not bothering?
