Not sure if it's any good but it's quite cheap and temp controlled.

    This powerbank sounds to be a good deal too:

    https://www.jaycar.co.nz/powertech-20000mah-power-bank-with-…

    • second that. 18w max output from the USB-C ports.

      • Is this Powerbank OK to take on flights in cabin baggage?
        Cheers

        • I went on an international flight last August with a 20,000 mAh power bank and had zero issues.
          The limit is 160 Wh for lithium polymer, and a random chart on the internet I found says 20,000 mAh is roughly approximate to 100 Wh. I hope that helps.

    Might need this. Moved here from North America and foolishly plugged in my 120v soldering iron in to the wall. It got really red, really fast, haha. Needless to say I need another one.

    • I have this one, the dial is quite hard to determine how hot it is going to get,
      orange = not hot enough,
      just on red = not hot enough,
      red all the way = too hot

      That was my experience with it anyhows, it's cheap though.

  • Says both out of stock for me

    • I think C&C is still available for a lot of stores

    This is an even better deal at Jaycar for anyone in the market for a 3D printer. This post should probably be updated with deals in the comments as I do not want to make another post.

    Used to work for jaycar a couple of years back, this is a pretty good quality iron and they've been stocking it for as long as I can remember and used to get minimal returns on them when I was working for them, judging on the price and age of them I wouldn't be surprised if they're finally discontinuing it.

    Personally recommend buying a couple replacement tips just in case they are actually discontinuing the soldering iron
