The v8 is more simplified in design, my v10 has become so janky, it jams when emptying it.
My v10 trigger broke after a year and ordered one from Aliexpress and replaced it myself. Had it for 3 years now and trigger is working fine but the bin that collects all the dust pulls apart and the lid doesnt open anymore so when it fully comes apart, i empty it the other way around lol.

Have been loving our mi knock verson off of this for about 6 years, but it is getting. Little tired, so took this opportunity to upgrade.
So if you have bought one, save a calendar reminder 23 months from now. Call Dyson then and tell them your battery is dying. They send you a free replacement.

This worked at Briscoes Botany. It's an excellent vacuum for smaller areas, powerful enough for carpet on MAX mode. It only lasts 7 minutes on that mode but it's so light and manoeuvrable that you get lots done in that time. Normal mode is great for hard floor or lightly vacuuming carpet.

Anyone knows if this V8 is great on collecting long hair from carpet? I am struggling with long hairs as my current vacuums bad on cleaning them from carpet and on top my Electrolux needs me to use the scissors to cut them once they are tied to the brush!
Good vacuum, i prefer this than my v10.
