Word on the street is that Wairoa prices in Wairoa were artificially held down through the opening of NPD Hastings… From what I've watched… they usually push hard for about a year before pulling back on the heavy discounts.
Definitely at the bottom of the market… So once they start moving, they will definitely catch up with the rest of the market.

According to Gaspy, cheapest 95 at Z is $2.809 at Wairoa with 4 price confirmations. Price updated 2 days ago. I cbf spoofing to confirm the actual price, but basically it's more or less the same. The data I'm getting for the past 2 months or so shows that Wairoa has been consistently the cheapest for 91 and 95 for Z.
Z Wairoa was $2.53 at one point, then it went back up slowly over time. Was wondering why my automation hasn't kicked off for a while, turns out it did but just didn't send me notifications because the prices never dropped below my price target. Hard to buy cheap petrol nowadays…
If the trend is going to go up, maybe worth buying bulk now?
Exactly my thoughts. Price is only gonna go up slowly, it already has (per my comment on 95 at Z Wairoa). Should’ve bought more when it was $2.7ish

Maybe OP meant Gull? I read a comment somewhere that Gull opened a new branch at Wairoa, which is why it pushed the prices for Z Wairoa down due to competition. If it's not Gull, then it's probably some other brand that opened a branch there.

It’s not consistent. They will send out a notification in the Z app when they have a bonus litres day but it seems to be getting more and more sparse. If you see a good price I’d advise just purchasing.
