I'm in the same dilemma. I think that Supercheap one with the 15cm tool will half the time to do larger items and also has two years warranty and longer hose and listed on supercheap au for $199 which is close to nz price of $214 vs the red one at harvey norman for $169 with 1 year warranty and listed on Harvey norman AU for $99 (based on AU price should only be $107 in NZ ) After seeing this i bit the bullet and went for the supercheap one.
When I saw the title, I was hoping for a repeat of this Smith's City Black Friday deal, but sadly not.
Back on sale for $229 though so not too bad and comes highly recommended. Only other place that seems to sell the Max is Bissell direct.
Got this for $150 back in Nov 2022 and use every week with our puppy.

What's the normal price?
