The closest equivalent deal we have here is a dual charger combo for $115 (delivery only): https://www.bunnings.co.nz/ozito-pxc-18v-twin-starter-batter…

Would be a good deal for those grabbing the $189 Ozito Lawn Mower for Black Friday. Unsure if this deal is available at other Bunnings stores.

How would you rate Ozito PXC tools as compared to Black & Decker?

    • I have B&D and Ozito and think my Ozito drills are better.

The Ozito come with bigger batteries and seem to have a bigger range and 5 year warranty

  • Ozito or Ryobi. Currently not tied to any ecosystem, so want to get it right.

Looking for drill/driver & workshop blower. Maybe won't have much need for anything else in future except for gardening tool if I think of doing it myself.

These batteries are cheap, but comparing the drills/driver kits & blower specs with Ryobi. Ryobi seems to be better. Thoughts?

    • Tool wise I went ozito, but I did get a Ryobi mower before I did that. Main thing was the ozito saw, drill, driver, grinder and sander starter pack with a 4 & 2ah battery and charger was a great price on sale then the batteries to add to it have been cheap.

The Ryobi mower, if I want a second battery cost more than the ozito tools and batteries did.

The tools have been fine for my amateur diy needs and will look to add a orbital or belt sander and planer at some point. If I ever need to replace the line from we or mower I'll probably go ozito too mainly because the additional batteries are so cheap compared to the competition.

          Nz famous for sure

  • Picked one up from westgate. There were still 3 more on the shelf. Not sure if they have more somewhere else.

    Porirua had 10 or so

  • went to Mt Wellington, asked staff, scaner showing $179 ish

    • The $179 one ( https://www.bunnings.co.nz/ozito-pxc-18v-2-x-4-0ah-batteries… ) is different from the one on sale for $69 ( which isn’t showing on their website ). The $69 twin pack comes with a dual/multi battery charger. The $179 pack comes with a single battery charger. Saw them both on Thursday at Bunnings Constellation Drive. Purchased the $69 twin pack.
The variety of Ozito battery pack options and the difference in prices seems crazy, you have to check carefully to avoid spending more than you need to.

      • thank you for the information, do you have the stock number or sku number for the $69 deal? cheers mate.

  • sold out everywhere!
