  • Similar deal over in Aussie

  • Have a few Ozito corded tools, worth the money.

  • +1

Worth remembering these are also known as einhell overseas if you're considering battery adapter's for other tools.

I might look at another 2.5Ah as the smaller battery is good for drills and drivers but no need to for a fourth battery charger.

Some are online now. But slightly different. This one is good.

    • Both out of stock everywhere around me (Palmerston North) and can't order for delivery.

I wish bunnings had specials on AEG stuff sometimes, especially as they are the only one selling AEG in NZ

    • +1

They do, I bought a lot last black Friday. Often these deals come direct from AEG, but you redeem them at Bunnings. They have plenty of redemption deals going most of the time. For example……..

  • Any ryobi deals?

    • +1

These seem to kick in on Black Friday. Usually they aren't extreme. Captive audience with ryobi I think. Last time they had combo deals so you had to purchase a whole bunch of stuff. Generally it was worth it though. You could on-sell the things you didn't need on Trade Me facebook wherever and come out smiling.

      • Thanks. Will be on the lookout. Need drill/driver combo and a blow dryer.

  • not showing up in my powerpass, must be regional

  • Just picked one up from Christchurch airport store, makes no sense the same product in a different red box is on the shelf with the tools for $80, this is near the entrance to the tool section for $30. They are identical products and the guy in there even said it's exactly the same thing.

    • Hmm, I'll need to check again. Went to Mt Wellington store yesterday and couldn't see the 2.5ah one anywhere apart from on the shelf under the tools @ $89

      • +1

Yeah it's strange it's not with the tools themselves and that they are still selling the $89 version of the same product. In my store it was opposite the tool section checkout in a pile of other ozito tools. If it helps it's a black box mixed in with the red ones.

there's a breakdown online where a guy pops a black and red one open, from memory the boards were different but essentially functioned the same.

Just picked up 2 x 4Ah batteries with duel fast charger kit for $69 at the Dunedin store. I/N: 0370066 which is showing on PowerPass but not the website.

  • I wonder if you can get a adapter to use Ozito batteries on Dewalt.
