      No, the codes are always generic with Spotlight but as to which one will work on your account depends on when your membership was created.
      Older accounts will work with one code and newer accounts with another.
      Normally they have a two or three different codes for these sort of promos.

    Just as a reminder, the code will only pick the most expensive thing and half-price it. It won't do more than one item.

    Helpful if you're buying something big. Not helpful if you're buying a dozen tiny things.

        It comes up as $70 (both codes ), but the problem is when you try to pay it has an error. Not sure if deal expired or it's an issue with my account.

        You're not gonna potentially encounter the error unless you put in payment details and commit to buying :-P

    I think the code not only applies to the full price, but I think the item has to currently be full price and not on sale, which is difficult BC everything is always "on sale", spotlight is pretty similar to Briscoes.

        You can't apply coupon to the full price of an item currently on special.

        Most items are perpetually on sale so have to find an item that isn't on sale to get the 50% off discount.

        Otherwise the checkout crashes on final payment according to csr.
