Same question. I have a really old breville ikon with a slow to switch off thermostat. But it is still relatively quiet compared to others.
Anyone know how brevilles cheap kettles compare? Some of the commenters on NL seem to think it's good.

I bought this kettle for work and it's great! It is quieter than the Russell Hobbs Kettle that we have at home!
It's pretty quiet and you can fill below minimum line for single cup without burning out element.

For anyone on the fence, we had this jug for 2+ years over lockdowns, bought a new silver one to match the toaster/microwave, and I’ve just picked this one up again (wife approved even though it won’t colour match) because it’s just that good and we missed it quite a bit!
I saw they had electric blankets for $35 as well which seemed a good price.
We got one of the queen ones, not that well reviewed but for the occasional use we need it'll be fine.
