First time post so hopefully I get the format right. I was in Reduced to Clear in Hastings this afternoon (Wednesday) and a big pile of Allbirds shoes was unloaded. All $55. Genuine article, mostly Tree Runners and Tree Dashers, mainly women's sizes 5-8 and Mens' sizes 10-14. Also some Allbirds natural "Trino fabric" clothing: running tights for $27, T shirts for $12, shorts for $20, all in various sizes.

They aren't showing up on any other NZ stores' Facebook page, so it might just be in Hastings so far, but keep an eye out on your local RTC Facebook page to see if they come in stock tomorrow.

Get some Eta Cornados Smoky BBQ while you're in there for $1.79, and a 4 pack of Lo Bros Lemon and Ginger Kombucha cans for $1. Or various Haagen-Dazs tubs for $4.50…

    Interesting, you never even used to be able to get a sale out of them, and now they're dumping stock for clearance? I wonder what's changed?

    These were also at WhyKnot in Auckland $50 a pair too, but i think all of the stock is gone. I think there might be a few pairs left but they are gigantic sizes or small sizes, which might be good for Kids

    @Wakrak called the Hamilton one and they said they have no stock / are not familiar with anything due to come in that matches the name or description.

      Will be excess inventory. Sales up 40% over years, but inventory up x2.
      Best to dump through these types of stores without promotion (or online outlets) to keep maintain their image

    I think Allbirds is in trouble - we know they put sales on and their full pricing is an absolute rip off. They're now not selling as much and need to move inventory… You know it's bad when they're striking deals with RTC to throw it out the back door per se.
