Ol’ Price Harry. Don’t know a thing about the bloke must have have done something interesting if his book costs that much.

By the sounds of it, it's not even his main book, just an extra one he had laying around.

      • Just clicked 😄🐢

    • Fixed the title now.

i have been listening to the audio book read by him, quite interesting to hear the inside of the royal family.
    the epub/pdf is circulating online

    • Sauce for the audio book?

      • You thinking tomato or BBQ?

        • +2

          ginger sauce, extra spicy

I found one on TPB but here's a silly question. Can you get viruses/malware from epub files?

      • +1

Well a well made reader shouldn't let an ePub do anything particularly dangerous. But note that theoretically you can get viruses/malware from anything even a text file if whatever is interpreting the text is buggy or does something stupid. ePub is a relatively complicated format including Javascript and SVG and often various media formats so it has a relatively large attack surface compared to a text file such that I wouldn't be surprised that with most readers there is some bug which could be exploited to break out and cause damage. Although frankly especially given the ability to attach images and that nearly everyone uses Chrome, I wouldn't be surprised if it's theoretically possible for a non admin to compromise many people on Cheapies (although you'd also need to break out of any browser sandbox to do significant damage). I'm not aware of any common malware affecting ePubs on updated software.

Anyway assuming you're going to be reading on a computer, you could always manually sandbox your reader application.

Came to the comments expecting more about the book subject matter than the deal itself - y'all did not disappoint 😆

Me too, LOL. Not enough loyal royalists among us, except may be fatboyj .
No matter what Harry should stay away from tunnels.

I was hoping with all of the media leaks that no one would support buying his book

‘Spare’ me! I have no desire to read more of his complaining. Why would I when I can already hear enough of his complaints for free?

    • +1

Definitely feels like someone transferring his (legitimate) childhood trauma where he couldn’t save his mother onto his new wife and trying to save her.

Talk about throwing your family under the bus. Who the (profanity) does that like this?!

Just a big whinge feast, from a man baby.

Send me your number I can whatsapp you the book for free lol

  • +1

I might consider reading it if I'm paid a reasonable hourly rate to do so.

    • +1

Don't you mean if you had some "spare" time to read it?

      • +2

If getting paid, there will be spare time always lol.

Or you could just put a request in at the libary if you're prepared to wait a year. Auckland Libraries showing 1490 holds on it

    • 1577 now for 60 copies. Maybe more interesting is there are 490 holds on the large print edition but only 1 copy at the moment. I wonder how many ordered the large print simply because there were less holds and how many are people who prefer large print (i.e. probably have poor close vision or otherwise have difficulties reading normal sized book text)

Also interesting it doesn't seem to be available as an Ebook or online audio book via Auckland Libraries. It is on Overdrive for both but maybe it wasn't made available to NZ
