I don't know about others, but buying something secondhand like this without images of what to expect always makes me nervous. What might be "B grade" to a salesperson, may be "D Grade" to a customer.

I hear you! Good point - I'll post some sample images of a real device. Give me 5 minutes :)

Yeah, plus a dual-core chip from 2017 and an old battery, in a model that Microsoft has said doesn't have Windows 11 support. This is near the end of its life.

      • -1

True about the CPU, but the batteries are actually insanely good in these. Cycle counts in most cases are below 100 - the one I've just updated photos for has only a 66 count.

        • +1

It's not just the cycle counts. If the battery had been abused (stay 100% charged for extended periods of time i.e. 24x7 plugged in) that could actually do more damage.

not really a good deal ive seen these cheaper

"Happy to do a deal if you're looking to take more than 1" - this whole post feels a bit "salesy" to me. Increasing page views, trying to flick old stock by posting on cheapies (IMO).
Ive previously had a surface and personally wouldnt go back after the screen flicker overheat issue I experienced on two units requiring replacement.

Just out here hustling man. But appreciate the feedback!

This all feels a little iffy to me, like it doesnt fit on cheapies - considering its a selling on trademe especially. Something just doesnt sit right about it

The rules for Trade Me posts on Cheapies are pretty simple:

    • The item for the deal must have a 'Buy Now' price
    • The seller must have a minimum of 90% positive feedback and at least 10 feedback OR has a store domain (enter that in the alternate store field)
    • There must be sufficient quantity of the item (10 or close to it, discretion can apply).
