The way offers can be used together varies depending on whether you’re shopping in a physical store or if you’re shopping in The Warehouse app.

However, you cannot use a product/category offer and a basket level offer in the same transaction, nor can you use more than one basket level offer in the same transaction.
When shopping in the app you can use more than one MarketClub product/category offer per transaction, you can also use a product/category offer with a basket level offer in the same transaction, and you can use more than one basket level offer in the same transaction – as long as you meet the requirements of each offer.
What is a product/category offer? It’s an offer that applies to a specific item or group of items, e.g. 20% off Gascraft Portable Gas BBQs or 15% off pet beds.
What is a basket level offer? It’s an offer that applies to the whole purchase, e.g. Spend $50 and get $5 off or get 10% off when you spend $100 or more.

So 13 x $4 butter = $52 - $5 = $47
But going by that FAQ you cannot combine product and basket level offers.
I've read about cheapies talking to the staff so they can manually apply the discount if the system doesn't allow it. Worth a shot.
Managed to get 2 x jeans for $8 each. The $5 off $50 works alongside the 70% jeans discount, and automatically applies at self checkout. I went instore (so best to try) if you want to give it a go.
+1 the 5 off 50 worked to my surprise on top of the 70% off at the self checkout.
I received a free shipping code for an order that was refunded. Codes now last six months (February, 2023 for me). Not bad.
