Click Frenzy: Mayhem 2022 General Discussion Thread

The Second NZ Click Frenzy Event has begun

Click Frenzy is one of the biggest shopping events in Australia, and last year in 2021 Kiwis finally got to join in the shopping event. This time limited event runs for 53 hours and historically, has included partners from many big-name retailers and franchises.

Be sure signup to their website here to receive their newsletter and be in the running to win some of their 99% off deals. (You can always opt out after the event is over).

If you were a participant in last year's event, simply log back in again with the same username and password.

The event will be offering you a chance to buy some high-demand items (they've teased an iPhone 13), at a very steep discount (99% off). These items randomly appear at certain times of the day (or night) during the 53-hour period, and stock is extremely limited so you'll need to keep your eyes peeled and your fingers ready to snap up these bargains.

Remember: You will need a Click Frenzy account to access these 99% off deals when they go live, so be sure to sign up for free beforehand so you don’t miss out.

Be sure to also bookmark their Instagram page as they sometimes use this to livestream events (which you need to watch to answer quizzes that unlock the 99% off deals)

    • Just got this text from DHL

Shipment held in Customs Dear *********, your DHL Shipment *** ******** is held for a Customs Client Code. To facilitate the clearance of your shipment, please kindly email your Client Code to ****@dhl.com or provide your email address to send you the client code application form. Thanks & Regards DHL Express NZ. Phone 0800 800 020.

      Looked up client code:

A client code is required as part of the import and export entry preparation and Customs clearance for shipments valued at NZ$1000 or more.

      lol

They need to follow the AliExpress model where everything is tagged as a gift with a value of about 50c regardless of its actual value.
        Much less paperwork…lol

      • I'm still waiting for my tracking code. I was told it was shipping Thursday but haven't heard anything since.

Hopefully customs doesn't hold your iPhone for too long!!

      • More emailing for you then 😟

      • have you gotten your iPhone yet?

        • Stuck in customs for a week. CF forgot about import tax and so there's a $350 fee to get it cleared + CF are slow with their responses.

  • Reply from Click Frenzy about Samsung Ear Buds -

    Hi …..

I just checked with our supplier and they verbally confirmed that the Samsung Ear Buds where shipped on Friday 1 July. However they are yet to send me the tracking number. I have requested it and will share it with you the moment I receive it.

    Thank you for your patience.

    With thanks
    Rory

    • I just got a text from dhl, its my tracking code :)

      • just opened the box.. it's galaxy buds live, not the buds pros. the box also looks old used.

not happy. Should I email them about this?

        • Definitely.
You haven't got what you paid for - doesn't matter if it was at a discount.

          • @bigcheese: yep just emailed. I've got the galaxy buds+ already so sound quality wise, these are a downgrade

imagine if wakrak gets an iPhone 6 instead of an iPhone 13 next…

@kiwiicheapies: Click Frenzy parcel delivered this morning. Thankfully it is indeed an iPhone13.

@Wakrak: yeah you're lucky you actually got what you ordered lol. enjoy the iPhone 13

@kiwiicheapies: Just a toy phone with 13 eyes on it.

        • Oh wow, that's crazy. Let us know what they email back saying.

            @KJKNZ: Hi XXXX

We are sorry to hear this and will try our best to resolve the issue. Our customers are very important to us and we hope to give you the best experience that we can.

Rest assured I'm currently raising this with my manager and will get back to you shortly.

          • @KJKNZ: another email,

"May I start with saying thank you for bringing these points to our attention, giving us an opporutinity to explain and find a resolution.

The item was dispatched from Australia by our supplier, we did not see it before it was sent out. I sincerely regret that it looks to have 'wear and tear' to the packaging.

We were not able to source the model we listed in the event but we were able to find the Galaxy Buds Live model.
When we compared the two models there was little difference between them. We were keen to reduce further delay which is why the model changed. We accept that it would have been best to advise you before hand.

We would like to make this up to you. We would like to give you a $50 voucher to be used within the next 6 months with out sister company, Grab One. Please take a look at all of their offers."

after looking online I've noticed that the Galaxy buds Pro are no longer on the noel leeming website, and PB tech has stock but at a high price. looks as if the buds have been discontinued…

sucks because I really wanted the buds pro…

@kiwiicheapies: Just woke up to this email

              Hi XXXX

As mentioned yesterday our supplier has confirmed that the item has been dispatched. I apologise that I don't have a tracking number to share as of yet. Maybe you have received the parcel?

I did want to advise that we were not able to source the model we listed in the event, Galaxy Buds Pro so instead we have sent the Galaxy Buds Live model.

We were keen to reduce further delay which is why the model changed. When we compared the two models there was little difference between them. We accept that it would have been best to advise you earlier than now.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I am confident that your parcel will arrive soon.

              Sincerely,
              Rory

Not sure what to reply, not even a offer of a $50 voucher haha

        • just looked on ozbargain and noticed that they were giving away the same white galaxy buds live on the aussie click frenzy sale.

still not happy, however as they've promised something much better which wasn't given in the end

          • @kiwiicheapies: sorry, please do not scroll through the comments in the ozbargain attached link, look in the post under the heading "Thursday 26th"

@Bill: Couldn't care less, annoying the info they provided was incorrect.

            • +1

@nilllskill: Annoying yeah but I agree with Bill that under the conditions especially the Click Frenzy history and the lack of any info on the deals seems most likely they just screwed up as they have several times now

              • +1

@Nil Einne: Yeah true, less about who is right, more about this event being a shambles and of course will annoy people.

                • @nilllskill: Just trying to make the place a bit more lively. The waiting will erode your soul.

            • @nilllskill: Dang, why you leaving yourself wide open to sucker punch "I told you so"'s
