Transfer the SIM to a Vodafone number, which should be free.

Once you've got a Voda number, you should not be able to sign up for Vodafone Rewards (they now check whether you have a Vodafone service with them, unlike previously).

From there, you should be able to purchase Hoyts movie tickets at a cheaper price.

    • Sorry but I don't get you, if you can't get Vodafone Rewards (they changed it so casual Prepay customers don't get any rewards), how could you use it to get cheaper tickets?

      • Hmm I did it a while ago, maybe it isn't possible anymore.

        • Yeah Vodafone changed it recently, you now need a "service" to get rewards. Previously all you need is a $1 Vodafone prepay SIM to get the rewards, no plan or prepay pack needed.

    • Should now*

    • Thanks mate!

  • Did anyone know did The Warehouse start to track your phone for signup new account or Market Club?
I just try to sign up the new account to Market Club and got the message: Ooops…something went wrong

  • Got the message from Skinny said "Please top-up within next 7 days or your credit will expire and your account will become inactive", anyone know if i top up the minimun amount $5 the number will last for another year? (I guess it's cheaper to buy a new sim, just want to know is this gonna works if i want to keep that number)

    • Here is the link to the help page for Skinny.

Looks like $5 will last you another year but yes it would be cheaper to get another sim.
If you really like the number you could always get a new sim and port the number before expiry.

      • Thanks for the link bigcheese! And good idea to port the number I haven't think about that yet! Might want to port a few numbers to keep Waitomo active!
