I think it's all are $299 for 2 instead of some being $469 or whatever. Deal if you want fancy frames
They have different frames at different price ranges usually, 2 for $199, 2 for $399 etc but does that mean with this promo any frame combination will be $299?
Yes that's right. I bought a pair, one usually 459 and the other usually 369, for $299. I would have paid $459 without the special.
Final dash for them, they will be hard hit once Costco opens…haha
I'm guessing this doesn't include the thinner lenses (many places will only do thin lenses for those with poor eyesight)?
Yeah you would pay extra for thinner lenses, transitions etc. It depends on the thickness of the frame whether they would recommend a thinner lens.
I highly recommend https://ezyglasses.co.nz/ if you're looking for cheap prescription glasses. I need glasses for driving, watching tv etc, and I've used this crowd quite a few times over the years, their prices start at $29.95 for complete sets of glasses (used to be $19.95) and if you don't like your glasses for any reason you can return them for a 100% refund so it removes the worry of things you order online not being right for you. $29.95 includes basic no frills lenses but you can upgrade them for $40 ($20 per lense) to their "Ultra lenses" that are 40% thinner and have scratch resistant, anti-UV and anti-reflective coatings.
I cannot sing their praises enough.
A cheapies recommendation is as good as 4 stars on google usually so I took the plunge.
Placed an order early this morning and they have already been shipped! Seems too good to be true, will report back when received.
And for the record, Specsavers can get f**ked, absolute pain to deal with. If these pan out I’m returning my $600 order.
Having to wait 2-3weeks to get new lenses fitted to glasses or sunnies is beyond shocking to be fair, I could go for a meal and come back within an hour and my new glasses would be ready for me when i got 2 back in south korea, even with lense compression and all the works for the lenses too
I had ordered 2 pair of prescription glasses online from my friend while returning from his home country which was fraction of the price I pay at Specsavers.
wow this is awesome. I was checking them out and the price is WITH the lenses! will definitely try out soon. just need to get an updated prescription.
