If you have never paid via app at Waitomo here are instructions by Wakrak/Bigcheese.

Go to Waitomo.
Pick a lane and open the app. Make sure data and location services are on.
Click ‘pay from your vehicle’.
Select pump no. & fuel type.
Choose a max spend amount and then the amount you'd like to spend.
Fill your vehicle.
Receipt will be sent through email.
You do not need to load a card onto your account

    $2 all the way for a few numbers, I guess chances to win $10 & & 20 are very very low without the hack, sure they never expect people to won heaps of those $20s when they setup this spin and win

        There was a "hack" - basically they used to ask for your cellphone number after you spun, so people just opened multiple tabs and kept spinning until they got one of the high value items. To stop this, they now ask for your cellphone number before spinning and don't allow multiple spins with the same number.

          Some people use multiple cheap sim cards as a workaround, there was a deal on warehouse mobile recently for $0.76 for one sim card.

    This can't be a coincidence. Tried on 5 previously used numbers, all $2's and 5$'s, did one for a new number and it's a $20.

    Considering buying $5 Kogan sims with 30 days worth of plan and using a new one every month to get more sims. It's a voucher which makes me think they can just be loaded onto one number so I don't have to swap sims.

      Other than for the 90 day promotion in 2020, the cheap Kogan vouchers have always been new customers only so will not work on existing SIMs. Or for that matter new SIMs on existing accounts I believe.

    Hi all, never used Waitomo app so bit confused. Do I put my credit card details in the app or do I swipe my card at the pump ? The instruction states that I don't need to load onto my account. So it means that they don't save the credit card details if I use credit card via app ? Sorry, not very good with technology. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

      wont need credit card to spend winnings (although min purchase is $10?).
      will need credit card if you want more fuel than what you have in winnings.
      i believe it keeps the card details to make it a smooth process.

      FYI if you don't click on that Claim Now button after wheel spin, your number/account won't receive the winning moolah. Probably a failsafe if you entered the wrong ph number, or perhaps to prevent bot or hacking attempts.

      It certainly seems to favour new numbers,despite the fact it portrays as random.
      I've got 'a few' sims and the new numbers are the ones that get the $20 or $10 on the whole.
      Never had less than $5 with a new sim.

    My question is how does this work if the number expires does it mean when someone gets that number they can't sign up to waitomo

      I would imagine that is correct, assuming the number is reallocated rather than retired completely.
      Once activated it is essentially your username which you keep.
