Only info I can find about write speed is that "it won't drop below 30MB/s".

  • On the samsung website:
    https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/memory-c…

Read : up to 130MB/s Write : Lower than Read Speed*

Speed class U3 (which according to the SD association is 30MB read minimum)

    • Thanks for the information. Grabbing one now.

    • i've had bad experiences with the previous version of evo plus', i might give it another go

my question is would be good for a go pro hero3?

      • +5

hey im not a guy. I know nothing about go pros either i just picked up a cheap 2nd hand one haha!!! all i know is that they take sd cards for storage

??? They simply asked a question - showing off how?? A lot of old Electronic devices wouldn’t support 128g tf card. That really was a good question actually.

Stevarja was just being sarcastic and funny. Hero 3 is an old model, i have the same model which was released in 2011. So what he meant to imply is that it would work wonders.

Hero 3 doesn't record in 4k,just 1080p max. So you wont have issue using this microsd card 😊

Hard to joke around anymore. I blame on Covid and those anti-faxers!

          • @stevarja: got use /s when in text form brah

            • @Huntakillaz: pretty sure people would still be uptight and offended anyways, people need to watch more south park.

Seems like possibly not? According to: https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/SD-Cards-That-Work-With-Go…

      "HERO3 Black, HERO3+, HERO+, and HERO+ LCD: Support up to a 64GB microSD card."

If that's the case, then the other deal would be more suitable: https://www.cheapies.nz/node/30367

Thanks picked-up one from local Noel Leeming for same price, so I don't have to drive further to a PB store and also pay extra for credit car fee.
