With the news that NZ now has better access to Amazon AU, it's a good time to start looking at deals available across the ditch. I'm currently on a 30 day prime membership trial and have been given a ~AUD$15 welcome coupon.

  • May not be available to everyone.
  • Might have to use an AU address generator first.
  • Remember to cancel membership before your 30 days is up.

These terms and conditions apply to Australian Prime members (free trial memberships only – excludes Prime members on paid) who have not previously made a shopping purchase on amazon.com.au or the amazon app in previous 12 months ("Eligible Prime Members"). These Eligible Prime Members can receive $15 off their purchase when they spend more than $15 of eligible item(s) and redeem the promotional code 'WELCOME15' at checkout via the Amazon app or amazon.com.au ("offer").

Once Eligible Prime Members become eligible for the offer (for e.g. a new free trial Prime member), it may take up to 48 hours for the promotional code to be successfully applied at checkout. For the purpose of these terms and conditions "eligible items" refers to any product shipped and sold by Amazon AU, Amazon US or Amazon UK on amazon.com.au or Amazon app and otherwise excludes products sold by third party sellers (even if fulfilled by Amazon AU), digital purchases such as e-books, subscriptions such as Audible, gift cards and postage or delivery rates.           Pretty sure that applies to Australian-based customers buying products from international stores ("international delivery" refers to the fact that the product is delivered from overseas)

    didnt work for me, couldnt sign up to trial, said billing address was missing or invalid
    (Which of course it isnt, since I am just finishing a prime US trial tomorrow with the exact same details. I didnt enter the card details into amazon au, it copied over my us ones automatically)

        yep, its weird, I might remove and re add my address and credit card and see how that goes. edit: nope, made no difference. I suspect they arent reading the nz address database correctly. hopefully they will fix it.

          Maybe try an AU address generator then just add your NZ address afterwards?

          yep, working for me too, but there was no notification from amazon at all about it, no email and nothing popped up on the screen.

    Cash Rewards are currently doing a $5 cashback on minimum $30 AU spend. Applicable on Amazon gift cards. Basically $30 card for $25.

    Not working here, even after waiting 48hrs. I have had several free prime trials on US Amazon and might have used this code (or similar) before which might be why.
