If you time travel to kill Hitler, then he would not exist if you did succeed, and therefore you would not have the notion of killing Hitler or have any knowledge of such reason existing.
You can also get M2 external enclosures from aliexpress for <$15 and do the same for a smaller footprint with faster speeds
Hi use this I have two one for my partner one for me .
I use it on my old t450s get about 30 to 180megabits writes on it , not fast but fits snugly very small in size . I have stored ebooks audiobooks and videos it's ok
Like about half as speed as mechanical drivesIt's holding up since 2years now
I would expect <40MB\sec write speeds for this, they make it hard to find on their non premium SKUs for a reason.
When you are hitting $40+ and you don't mind the physical size you can buy an secondhand SSD and a USB adapter and see far higher speeds
