    Utter waste of time, it introduces additional humidity. Known as a Swamp Cooler in the USA.

    The only thing that can truly cool is an air conditioner because it's shifting heat to outside.

    Also this is marketing rubbish.

  Someone said on a Dyson fan post on cheapies a while ago that industrial fans do the job better than an $800 dyson fan so I ended up buying a $200 industrial fan from mitre 10 mega and wow does it do the job!!
