Terms & Conditions
Information on how to participate in the Promotion and redeem free promotional KFC products form part of these conditions. Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The Promotion is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 and over. Employees of the Promoter and any agency involved with this Promotion, and the immediate families of such employees, are not eligible to enter.
The Promotion commences at the first T20 match (BLACKCAPS v West Indies) on Friday 27 November 2020 at 7pm and finishes 24 hours after the final T20 match (BLACKCAPS v Bangladesh) on Monday 29 March 2020 (‘Promotion Period’). Any attempts to redeem the Promotion elements outside of the promotional period will not be eligible.
How to Redeem the promotional elements for the KFC Six & Shout Promotion:
When a ‘six’ is hit into the official KFC Zone during any one of the official 2020-2021 NZ Cricket T20 matches the ‘Six & Shout’ Promotion will be live. Anyone who is eligible to participate must say the code “Six & Shout” to staff in person at any participating KFC NZ Store to unlock the associated promotional KFC product for FREE. This product is only FREE when the winner purchases at least one other KFC menu items, the purchase must be at full price, limit of one free KFC product per customer per transaction. The free KFC product is not available with any other special offer or coupon.
Promotion Details
There are three promotional products to unlock and be released for free to KFC stores across New Zealand (‘Prize’). The free promotional product is only live from 8am the day after a six is hit into the KFC Zone and for a period of 24 hours from that time. The promotional products are not simultaneously unlocked – the official unlocked product will be whichever was the final unlocked item during the relevant T20 match.
First six (per T20 match) unlocks FREE KFC regular chips
Second six (per T20 match) unlocks FREE KFC three pack of Wicked Wings
Third six (per T20 match) unlocks FREE KFC Zinger Burger
The Promotion includes:
One of the unlocked items per person (customer) who uses the code “Six & Shout” to staff in person at any participating KFC NZ store. Participants of the Promotion will receive their product immediately in person when they order at any participating KFC NZ store within the 24 hour time periods outlined in section 7.
General
The offer including each of its elements, are not transferable, changeable or redeemable for cash.
In the event that the offer, or any part of the offer, becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, the Prize, offer or that part of the Prize offer will be void, and no compensation will be payable.
The Promoter reserves the right to disallow Promotion redemption in-store please in its absolute discretion and without giving reasons.
By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to the use of their names, photographs and likeness for promotional/advertising purposes, and agree to make themselves reasonably available for this purpose. The ensuing copyright will rest with the Promoter, without any claim to compensation from the entrants.
Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
All decisions made by the Promoter its employees or agents are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel any aspect of the Promotion (including any offer) at any time in its sole discretion.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies), excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following:
any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control)
any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference
any entry or offer claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected
any variation in the offer;
any tax liability incurred by a claimant or entrant
use or acceptance of a Prize/offer
As a condition of participating in the Promotion, all promotional products redeemed by participants will indemnify the promoter, all organisers, sponsors and all other persons and organisations associated in any way with this Promotion against all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including costs on a solicitor-client basis) which the Promoter and its affiliates may incur arising out of the participation in the Promotion or (if applicable) participation of the Promotion, any breach of these terms and conditions, or any wrongful or illegal act or omission, howsoever caused.
