    Yes I saw that as well! I kind of resigned myself to getting a refurb Ultra (I have another one already) but is the Google TV one way better?
    How's your experience with it? Maybe it's worth the extra money.

      Depends on what you want to do with it. Do you like Smart TVs with a remote? Then the new Chromecast with the Google Assistant Voice remote is great. Voice commands are a fantastic way to use Google TV.
      
      You can also put Kodi on the new Chromecast, for all that (cough, cough) streaming goodness.

        @Avantime: I've never owned a smart Tv hence the Chromecast! Sounds good though. I should probably spring the extra $$ considering how often I will use it. Thanks.
