Seems to be the cheapest deal at the moment on a Ryzen 4th gen laptop.

Discount only applies to the Ryzen 5 4500U models, but even those are as fast as Intel 10th gen 15W i7s.

The 8GB of DDR4 is a soldered single channel, alongside an unpopulated slot for the 2nd channel according to the spec sheets.

Connectivity is rather limited (not the most recent HDMI, DisplayPort, USB standards) but understandable for the price.
The main criticisms online relate to colour bleed and underwhelming brightness from the display panel.

  I actually ordered one of these and in the end I ended up ordering a T495 from pbtech when it was on special for $1200 and cancelled my order at Lenovo, main reasons were better screen on T495 and better connectivity ports, yes it is slower but for office it shouldn't* matter. Otherwise it anyone who doesn't care about selection of ports ect these are really good.

  Got the 15 inch 2 weeks ago when it was $999 for my Dad. Not exactly a stellar deal at $1099. I would wait until the weekend sale if you are looking for a 4500u laptop.
