Bunnings also have a $149 nova gear sliding mitre saw on their front page. No product page though. Also Ozito with stand for $209.

That one is not a sliding one. It's just straight up and down.
The bunnings ladder is great quality. I grabbed it last time round. Also, its rated to 150kg for bigger boys like me. The Mitre one is only 120kg.
Do you need a trailer or Ute to pick up the ladder?
Last time I managed to pack it into a hatch back with the seats down. Best to check measurements with your vehicle.

This looks like a better product than the Werner one - Higher weight limit (150vs120 kgs) and is heavier as well. plus 5 dollars cheaper

Got the ladder thanks. Be aware that it's worth calling or checking your store for these.
Mine said no stock when checked online, but there was actually one in the store.
She said when they get down to the last 1 or 2 of an item it may show no stock when they actually do have 1 or 2 left.
Especially if it is something that could have a display model.
Wonder will Bunnings match the ladder price with $40 like last time as well?
