  • Thank you - got one.

I got one of these for work months ago. It's not the best gaming mouse as the ergonomics aren't great due to our being ambidextrous but for productivity is fantastic. If your IT department will let you install the Logitech gaming software you can put anything on the function buttons and then have it change profiles when you change software making it custom for each program. Just having copy and paste on buttons saves a lot of hassle stretching for ctrl+c or v.

You either have very small hands or you are doing something wrong if you have to stretch for ctrl+c!

      • It's not a big stretch but it's not good for your hands to do it repetitively. In the software we use I need to do ctrl+c, then ctrl+1, then ctrl+v and ctrl+u bouncing between software so it takes its toll reaching across the keyboard. With this those 4 combinations are mapped to face buttons massively reducing the time and effort to compete this task dozens of time in a row.

    • This will be my first foray into the world of gaming mice so think it's a great entry price, especially for a Logitech hey! Could be wrong but also saw online that you can write/save macros onto the mouse itself so you can plug it into another computer and still have the macros stored. Plus, the software which autodetects the application you are working in and changes the buttons' functions to correspond looks really smart!

You can record macros and save buttons to the mouse but you can't auto switch applications and are limited to three profiles. If at work you can't install the software you can program the profile at home Nd just take it in and switch manually between profiles.

  • Damn I keep missing out on mouse deals

I missed it on the Logitech MX mouse with the MTA vouchers.

I just bought Logitech g pro hero (not wireless) for $80 from the market delivered ($20 referral coupon and free shipping on going trial). That's another option for people who want to spend a bit more.
