  • Thank you bought some socks for family

  • Great thanks. Always look forward to these. Nearly everyting sold out of course. But always the way unless you're in quick. I wish they would have an "item in stock" filter?

    • I hear the app allows for this but the website doesn’t.

      Agree it’s frustrating!

Cant find that option in the app, and the app is way slower to load than the website making for an even more frustrating experience. The vast majority of stuff is sold out, why they think its a good idea to list sold out stuff on their website is beyond me.

        • I hand't tried it. A Warehouse app is not something I personally want on my phone.

Fully agree, it's insanely frustrating to search for stuff only to find on the next screen that it's not actually available.

        • I would assume it's because items can cycle in and out of stock many times a year, and they'd rather that people think,"it's out of stock for now" instead of,"it's never sold here."
Certainly it would be good practice for them to have the filter on every platform and also a visual marker like a badge or a grey overlay to make it immediately obvious.

      • if the app has it..there must be a url modifier for 'in stock' if anyone can figure it out?

Rubbish website and app. Not worth the hassle as everything I like is our of stock and no way to filter out of stock items.

  • Ok now I need clearance on chocolate.

    • All easter stuff is under $2.

Beware when you select different designs of the same item price changes.
And lot are out of stock or find in shop. :(

  • I am really not a fan of the Warehouse at the mo. I’ve noticed that they have whacked 20c extra on to the prices of a whole bunch of products online. Price gauging? Maybe. It’s illegal if they are doing that…so I will say no more as I’m not definitely making that accusation, but I am just aware of an increase of 20c extra on some essential items. I knew what price they were before lockdown and I know what price they are now, that’s all I can say for sure. I guess they are just trying to make up for the money they lost having to shut down completely during initial stage of lockdown, but still… it’s pretty obvious to me that prices have been bumped up by 20c here and there, particularly on essential items in the pantry section.
Twenty cents may not sound like much, but when you start adding it up, every extra 20c per product in their pocket would start to add up!
Also on the discount ‘deals’ that I looked at in clothing, a lot were either out of stock, a crap design or a size that most people wouldn’t fit -XXL for example!
Also their app gets overloaded easily, which has been mentioned above in these comments. It kept timing out on me when I went on the other night and in the end I just gave up in frustration. As I said, not a fan @ mo! 😅

    • A 20c increase is not price gouging, and wouldn't be illegal. Gouging refers to huge increases over the RRP. Many retailers have had to increase prices. Lots of increases in price. Wholesale cost, shipping costs, staff costs, rent costs……Then there is the issue of actually sourcing more stock if the factories have slowed down or gone into "essential production only" mode. Transport for imports has increased. There are extra charges to pay on all of my imported items as the supply of cargo space has diminished. :)

    • our dollar has taken a good hit so I would expect prices to slowly creep up, better now than price shock with it jumping 15% later.

  • True

  • I still hate their app though, lol. 😝 But yes, as I mentioned above, I wasn’t outright accusing them of price gauging. I was just saying the 20c extra on items, particularly in the essential items area, has been quite consistently noticeable, to me anyway. And I haven’t noticed this quite so much anywhere else - even though I do shop quite regularly online…. So just thought I’d mention it. It may not be illegal, but it’s still annoying to consumers that costs are being passed down to us. But then again I feel sorry for businesses too having to accrue costs due to the lockdown. Pandemics suck for everyone - consumers, businesses, students, parents, children, the elderly, the lot! Nobody gets off lightly, but thank you for explaining that to me from a business angle.
