Is this on special or the usual cost?

not sure, I just went and bought it…. I think they usually cost more.

Normal cost is $40-$60.
It's a cute case but $20 is still too much for what you get in terms of material. Hit up Ali Express if you want a spare bit set.

Couldn't find the original price but it was 20aud in 2017

Pretty sure this is the normal price as I as I bought one last month not on special. Still good value for money.

I have had one of these kits for about a year now. Overall, pretty good for a weekend warrior who does occasional home DIY.

This might be a stupid question, but does this include the drill? It doesn't seem to from the picture.

No. These are only the bits.

My other ryobi bit set, is horrible becuase it is really hard to pry the bits out using your fingers. The plastic securing lugs hold the bits so tightly that often I use a tool to remove the bits. The drill bits are the worst, because you can cut yourself on those, just trying to get them out.

Very true - I have the driver set and it takes a crowbar (or at least a screwdriver) to get anything out. But still great value

Me too. I actually have a chipped screwdriver in the same drawer for that purpose.

I have the same issues with my dremel kit.
the generic set you get that slots in vertically is better, but this is a great price.Just be careful as the drill may chew the bits as they are quite soft so doing it by hand is better
Better images from amazon since i wanted to see what's inside.

I'd buy it but I cant stand that Ryobi green/yellow colour.

Puke green must be an acquired taste.

You start to appreciate it when you can't find shit in your garage. If only they could dope the actual bits puke green.

Thanks, now I just have to make sure I always put the bits back in there!
