How good is that Tui Compost? How much normally?

I've been using cheap compost $4-$6 to top up my pots and raised beds, nothing fancy - the only thing i hate is the bigger pieces of wood/mulch like wood. Is this better?

  I use the Number8 compost from Mitre 10. It’s 9c more ($4.59) than the cheap Dalton’s from Bunnings, but I find it’s much finer with less large wood chips. It also doesn’t stink for days like every time I’ve bought the Daltons bags. Add some amendments to it, like blood and bone, and it works pretty well for me.

I personally prefer just the cheap one worth $4.5 from Bunnings Warehouse and add and mix bone meal and works same as the premium one at a minimal cost ;)

What is the difference between the cheaper compost and 'premium' compost? I am looking at topping up my garden bed. How much was this premium compost before the sale?

  It’s less likely there will be weeds in the premium compost, and better nutrients.
