Not to moan about Ubereats too much or the nice deal you have posted, i like the app but i hate them so much, they are the sole reason for the increase in prices at every restaurant in Wellington.
They have this bs policy "Restaurants can't raise prices above their normal restaurant prices", so local restaurants merely increase their restaurant price to match their Uber price to avoid getting caught out by this policy. This means, that places like Rams that used to do $11-12 meals are now doing $25-26 mains. Chinese takeaways for $25-26? I can go to a mid range restaurant/high quality cafe and get a much higher quality meal for that price. Indian takeaway joints that used to do $15 for "large" are now trying the same thing, pretty pathetic really.
They are unstoppable as well, restaurants pretty much run on the business Ubereats provides them and Uber gets the pinch the ticket at both ends. Wonderful situation for Uber, terrible for everyone else.
