Take out new vehicle insurance (car, SUV, van - but not motorcycle) policies with Cove Insurance before 31 October and receive a $50 Prezzy Card.

I found this company to be at a slightly higher price point for a comparable policy than Trademe Insurance, but was swayed by the deal. Plus the company is Kiwi-owned, which may be relevant to you (personally don't care!)

No fixed-term contract and the policy is on a monthly basis, which means you could take out a policy with the maximum excess and minimum agreed value and potentially spend much less than the $50 value of the Prezzy Card.

There is also a referral system in place which provides either a free month of insurance (up to $100 value) for both purchaser and referer.

  Just wondering if you have a claim before recently does it make your premium higher when you sign up for one?

    It's definitely one of the screening questions they ask, and so I presume that factors into the pricing. You can see the price change as you click through and answer different questions - so you should know how much that affects your price, if at all.
