Free Skinny Tricut SIM card (Was $2) @ Skinny Mobile

210
STAFFSIMS

Add the SIM to your shopping cart.

Checkout.

Enter code "STAFFSIMS" in promo codes on the right hand side.

Discounts the SIM to $0.

For multiple free SIMs you can add one SIM multiple times to the cart before checking out. Works fine with 2 SIMs. Probably don't abuse this.

Edit: Seems to be going in/out of stock to stop scalpers. If it's OOS, try again after an hour or something. Working fine for me as of noon NZ time (I'm AEST right now): https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/272384490297360384/61…

Tell me if it works, because I worry Skinny might not fulfil it.

I already have numbers I like.

    • Thanks dick now they sold out so no one can get one

  • Sold out online as of this morning.

  • aaah damn it, Out of stock!

  • Does anyone know if there’s a period of time you have to enable the sim before they re-assign the number?

    • You can always call their support and they will send you a new one for free. I bought 2x 2Degree SIM cards from a store and tried to activate them. Both were duds and the guy on the phone just said that they'll send me new ones (they sent me 5).

    • Not that I know of.

Generally speaking, NZ SIMs don't expire.

      • Vodafone Sims do expire as far as I know.

        • Correct, the newer ones do.

don't abuse it - proceeds to abuse it

  • Max 1 per order limit applied which is good.

  • I think I've figured out how to get more.

I purchased 5x just now, but it was my first time doing it. After completing the order, the page then shows that it's out of stock. Even when I open an incognito tab, I get the same page. However, people said it was out of stock since 1 hour before I placed my order, so I thought it might be to do with an IP address or Geolocation lock. I spoofed my geolocation (using Location Guard for Chrome) and refreshed the page, now I can place more order.

    Update:

Even though you can place more order, if you try to update the amount to more than 1, it will tell you it's out of stock. If you then try to change the order amount back to 1, it will still show the same thing.

So the trick is to just spoof location, add to order (by default 1x) and then checkout. Then repeat.

  • What's the point of this? There's 0 credit with these sims right?

    • yeah but you want a new sim getting this you save $2 and also get free shipping

Well I want to switch my number and my friend's number to Skinny. I'm on Spark right now, wanting Australian calls and he struggles with reception on 2D.

Saves us $4 in SIM costs.

$4 is a lovely can of Avalanche drinking chocolate :D

Great, well done everyone for sharing a coupon designed for staff of some businesses and eligible students and abusing it so much it gets taken offline!

staff can afford $2 for a sim

If you use Skinny already, you can use the Buddy Rewards scheme to some advantage too.
Firstly get share code for your 'Buddy' then actuvate the new SIM on a $16 plan and then immediately cancel. The new SIM gets 4gb data credit and you get $20 credit.
Thus even if you do nothing with the new SIM you still get $20 credit for the price of $16.

  • Thanks OP. That was a quick delivery, received mine first thing this morning.

I'm surprised that Skinny used overnight post.

      That's insane for a $0 SIM.

I got mine too (near Albany, Auckland).

  • CHC got it this morning
