Air NZ AmEx: No Annual Fee, 50 Airpoints, 0% Pa Interest for 6 Months, Earn Airpoints (2= $100)

40

The new Air New Zealand American Express card offers

  • No annual fee ever
  • 0% P.A. Interest for 6 months
  • Free additional cards
  • 50 Free Airpoints (after $300 spend)
  • 1 Airpoints per $100 spend and 2 Airpoints for spend on Air NZ for 1 year.

This is a very good offer costing you nothing.

The free Airpoints are good but not as great as the other offers. However, the 6 months interest free combined with the above works quite well.

  • Are you able to find a proper fee schedule? I haven't been able to find cash advance/ATM withdrawal fees anywhere.

    • Fees

Looks like all of them have a ~20% p.a. cash advance charge.

      +

      Cash Advance Fee*
      — per domestic transaction
      -per overseas transaction
      $2.00
      $5.00

Cash advances are the absolute worst way to get cash. At 20% p.a., you're better off getting a personal loan, which also is bad however better than a CC.

      • Sweet, cheers bro.

  • +1

I believe 2 points per $100 for 1 year not just until 30 June.

    • Ah cheers. Have corrected it.

    • 1 bonus Airpoints Dollar for every $100 you spend at airnz.co.nz in your first year of Card Membership2

It's not on all purchases. It's only for spend direct with airnz.

      • Ha. My reading comprehension is low today. Have fixed…again.

  • does anyone have a get member referral link that they can pm me? has anyone done a global transfer of their amex to nz? were you asked for proof income and asked to close your other amex cards?
