  FYI this is the approx real world benefit of this reward. It's not bad if you're getting a decent fuel rate, compared to their usual fly buys returns.

    That was the old airpoint conversion rate, but I think it has been devalued since then. For example a $20 gift card is 160 points. On that notion 21 points = $2.62

      Thanks for the heads up. Looking at some of the rewards it seems it's spread out a little more, it used to be more consistent for gift cards. Some rewards are 6.1 or 6.2 points per dollar, and others are 8 points per dollar like the one you mentioned.

      Approximately 6 fly buys equalled 1 airpoints dollar when they used to have a partnership, which is worth $1 of real money. And most gift cards were previously around the 6 or so points per dollar mark too. So it made for an easy conversion. A few appliances and other such things were in the 6-7 sort of figure too, when referencing their retail price.

      As per comments above its more varied, but you can still use 6 as a guideline for best case.

  Is there a minimum spend on fuel to get 21 fly buys points? I see it says it has to be a qualifying purchase but not sure what that defines as. I just purchased $5 of fuel and swiped fly buys card so hope thats a qualifying purchase lol

    There's no minimum, but you can only do it once per Flybuys card. The definition according to Z is:

    The Promotion is open to all customers of Z Energy who purchase petrol or diesel (Fuel) and swipe their Fly Buys card in a single transaction at a Z service station during the Promotion Period (“Qualifying Purchase”).

    However, I believe there is a minimum purchase of 2 litres for all fuel sales.
