  • This is the US version, so you may have to flash an EU rom to get the fingerprint scanner to work… see the comments for more details.

  • if its the US version the the power button doesnt have a fingerprint scanner enabled on it

    • It's only disabled in software and easily be re-enabled by flashing an EU rom, does not even invalidate the warranty bit (phone still shows warranty valid).

Also this phone has recently received Android 7.0, so you are probably doing yourself a favor by flashing the latest rom anyway.

      • I was just adding information to any buyers, maybe your info should be added to the original deal as a note, as not all people want to flash stuff.

Also I don't understand why you would need to flash Android 7, it'd just do that automatically when you turn it on, not sure why you added that part

        • I dont think American version has received Android 7 OTA yet. Hence suggesting flashing EU variant of the firmware being a better alternative as it not only gives you fingerprint reader but also the latest Android.

        • This appears to be the US version, I'll add a note.
  • what's band 28 for?

    • Extended LTE 4G coverage on some NZ networks.

  • Customized AU firmware would be my weapon of choice. (if it has everything enabled) since there are no custom nz and the tele and voda aren't on the latest security patch (34.3.A.0.217)..

************Remember to do your homework before flashing roms***********.. sony are particularity notorious for disabling features once bootloader unlocked.

  • Why's it expired? Looks still available to me
