It’s the Sky Tower’s 20th Birthday and we have some great offers for you to come and help us celebrate…

FREE Admission for NZ Residents!
On Thursday 3rd August 2017, New Zealand residents come up the Sky Tower for FREE!

There will be a great atmosphere! We will have balloon twisters and face painters from 10am-4pm. Please note that there may be queues for entry and face painting and queues may be closed ahead of stated end time if demand is high. We recommend you arrive early to avoid disappointment.

3 August 2017, 9am-10pm (Last tickets at 9.30pm)

Must show proof of NZ address to redeem the offer.

Light the Sky Tower!
SKYCITY is inviting members of the public to the base of the Sky Tower to have your chance to select one of eight colours to light the top of the Tower for a special occasion, person, cause, or simply your favourite colour.

From 3-5 August from 6pm-9pm each evening. Make sure you get in early to avoid disappointment.

  What proof of NZ address?

    I would hazard a guess and say something that shows your name and a NZ address, along with some identification to correlate the name on the address with you personally. That would be if they were wanting to be pedantic…otherwise, probably just something with your NZ address (ie power bill, rates, bank statement etc).

    Phoned them up a few days ago and was told a drivers license would be fine… But would be safe to bring a phone bill or bank statement along too if your drivers license dont have your address on it.
